I am a Swiss musician who earns his living as a live and studio drummer and drum teacher. Besides drumming, I am passionate about playing the piano, singing and writing lyrics and songs. The two longplayers of my three releases of my solo project Five Blue can be streamed on Tidal and Apple Music. My fourth album, Waves, is currently being mixed and mastered, and will be released digitally and on double vinyl towards the end of 2026.
To date, I have played in eighteen countries with various bands, was a permanent band member of the award-winning Nigerian singer Justina Lee Brown, Wurzel 5, Baze, Trummer, the Alexander Paeffgen Trio and many others, and have shared stages with artists such as Steff La Cheffe, Joy Frempong, Ina Müller, Tilo Nest, Max Lässer, Copenhagen Slim and Jan Galega Brönnimann.
I am currently the drummer in the bands Gross in Japan, Ro‘s Blue, Lieblingslieder, D-Tension and Badwannepirate.
The song ‘Hie’ by Wurzel 5, with me on drums, has been the entrance anthem of BSC Young Boys, Bern’s successful city club, since 2018. In 2023, we had the honour of performing the track live at the Wankdorf Stadium before a match to mark the club’s 125th anniversary. Ich bin ein Schweizer Musiker, der seine Brötchen als Live- und Studio-Schlagzeuger und Schlagzeuglehrer verdient. Neben dem Drummen spiele ich leidenschaftlich gerne Klavier, singe, texte und komponiere. Zwei der drei Alben meines Soloprojektes Five Blue kann man bei Tidal and Apple Music streamen. Der Song “Hie” von Wurzel 5 mit mir an den Drums ist seit 2018 die Einlaufhymne des BSC Young Boys, dem erfolgreichen Stadtclub von Bern. 2023 durften wir den Track anlässlich der 125 jährigen Geburtstags des Clubs vor einem Spiel live im Stadion Wankdorf performen.
